Start of production...

Yup, as of the 11th of May, I'll be starting on my first ever professional games production.

There's been lots of pre-stuff, lots of planning-blarg, but only now has it finally got to the point where I can say: We're entering production of our yet unannounced title.

Considering how far we've come as a team at Codies, Guildford, it'll be interesting to see how the dynamic changes through production.

Currently I'm working as part of the world representation team, which basically means, dealing with the environments in relation to the game, I get to work with a wide range of people at work as a result so it's cool. In a way you could say the code I right is supposed to be the hub which every external assets passes through... [I'm just bigging it up :)].

Hopefully soon, their will be announcements and screen shots but until then, I suppose I will just have to rant on about my many musings, about the games industry, and collegues.
